One of Reading’s best reggae exports ever, 9-piece roots band The Drop have been busy in the studio with Nick Manasseh, bearing fruits with a new release on Reggae Roast, mixed by Grippa Laybourne.
The single, called ‘Waiting For‘, comes from the self released ‘Turning Around‘ EP (Dec 2013) which features a valiant vocal cut from the bands frontman Dandelion (see video below).
The latest digital package will be available for release on Reggae Roast from June 16th and includes a dance-influenced remix from London-based producers LV and, as if that wasn’t enough; The Future Dub Project contribute an extra-dubwise take to top it off (better than cherry on cake). Ears to the ground as there is a full album proposed from The Drop later this year (planned for Oct 2014). Look Forward!
